In doing a PhD research to show how education context adopting computer assisted language learning can we use Diffusion innovation theory to show how far English teachers adopt and use CALL and in the same study use TAM model to show how context accept this technology? some said that they are the same and will show the same results ! as they are both change model or rational choice !
How to justify the use of both?

Adding Innovation Diffusion Theory to the Technology Acceptance Model:
Supporting Employees’ Intentions to use E-Learning Systems
Use these articles to locate others with similar exploration using both TAM and DOI. I think they are going to show similar results but it is doable.
