For microbial biomass N (MBN) estimation, we extract the pre-conditioned soil sample with pottassium sulphate and sulphate and sulphate and perform digestion at 250 to 350 0C for 3 hours. After that, distillation is performed.
However, due to some technical problem, if one would like to store the sample for a few days what would be the appropriate stage for this?
I'll be highly thankful to you, for sorting out this query.

A soil microbiologist can answer better. Storing in a refrigerator may be an option? Not sure.

After extraction with potassium sulfate, you can store your extracts at 2 degree Celsius as described in the original paper (pdf available on Google Scholar).

Dear Rishikesh,
Storage at 2-4 degree Celsius is feasible only for one month.
Try to store at -20 degree Celsius for longer shelf-life.
Thereafter, as per Ms. Shalini Gupta me too recommend the same that before use it should be kept under room temperature for 2-3 hr
