I want to compare shaker test results with Ansys transient analysis results. I have a structure with many joints and shaker test is done on this structure with one of its part attached to the shaker table.
How can i give this input condition(input excitation) only to one part in Ansys and get the response of other parts..?
first thing the part 1 to 4 are the joints (if rigid joints/positive locks), then the excitation propagates from the exciter attachment to the whole structure.
Now you have input excitation to the structure and response of the point (eg. part4) experimentally measured. Then model the structure and give excitation as per the test set-up excitation input measurement point and get the response at the point where you measured response.
Then compare the results. You may required to tune(E, density) the structure so as match the ansys data to the measured data. Once tuning is completed then your FEM model is ok to further modification/control of the vibration

I have done it using spectral analysis but i want to try with transient structural analysis. I have coverted the psd into acceleration vs time. In transient structural i have used this acc vs time as input. But this input is applied on all bodies.
Is this correct to compare with the test results..?

How to give the excitation only to one part in Ansys transient structural analysis..?
you have to fix the structure(clamped boundary condition) at the base of the part 1 where it has fixed to the shaker. From there you can give whatever the excitation load (PSD Vs frequency or shock pulse) and see the response.
Only Acceleration (G-loads, Static loads) can only give on the whole body and again in turn it acts on the CG of the structure. This can be simulated in Centrifuge.
