No. Sensors are cameras are two different devices. However, you can attach sensors to your CCTV cameras so that they may record only when some activity (movement) occurs.
Yes. However, it depends on your requirements and how you use them. There are multiple issues which you need to solve. For example,
A student carries some TAG which is automatically scanned on his/her entry into the examination hall. (Issue: how will you ensure that every student carry only his/her card?). To solve this issue, you can use biometric scanner on the examination hall entry points.
So its not that simple. Kindly explain your scenario in detail so that I can advise you accordingly.
sir here in Pakistan ratio of cheating increasing so much so i want to control this by using some video sensors which will monitor the student activity.like our KPK province Government they are thinking about CCTV camera but i want to use sensors if possible?
yeah sir but CCTV camera's need instant power and can be broken means there is security problem like here in Pakistan when you are going to restrict students from Cheating then there are some students belong to political parties which show very much reaction and then they can damage the CCTV camera's but sensors can be deployed in some hidden places and also don't need instant power due to batteries.whats your opinion about that?
The problem is that sensors may not help you in this regard. If you believe that CCTV cameras wont be helpful then think about some alternate solutions, for instance, plagiarism checking, random questionnaire etc.
