if the memory is truly divided throughout the brain in multi centers and the collective processing unit for all these data are to be considered is the hippocampus
then there is a possibility that the hippocampus can pass on our information to our offspring via chemicals related to endocrinology?
No, you pass information to offspring in single cell from mother and another single cell from father. No "hippocampus specific molecules" in these cells. But yes, the hormonal status of the mother during pregnancy affects the child (not the memory though)

Hippocampus is considered by many scientists to be involved in short term memory. I tested this by EEG recordings in animals with cronically implanted electrodes. ( DM Psatta: EEG patterns of Short Term Memory in cats durng approach-avoidance successive differentiation. Rev. roum. Neurol.. 1972, 9, 229-248).The task consisted in a succesive delayed differentiation between two pairs of stimuli: 1. ILS - 10 sec delay - light - reinforced by food (or painful stimulation). 2. Tone - 10 sec delay - light , reinforced by painful stimulation (or food), in two groups of animals. The most characteristic pattern for an efficient STM was the persistence of ILS memory traces in the delay period. Such traces occurred in the visual cortex (marginalis posterior in cats) and in the RF (never in the Hippocampus). Theta activity prevailed in the Hippocampus, a hippocampal desinchronization resulting in forgetting the warning stimulus (occurence of an opposite behavioral reaction). It was concluded that Hippocampus (an inhibitory loop) acts by regulating the thalamic gate (focused attention) and mediating psychomotor initiative (delayed reactions). Bilateral damage of the Dorsal Hippocampus induced however a bizarre alteration of the genetic memory (a bad recognition of dog, mouse, or of the opposite sex) in cats.
