Thank you for sharing knowledge and providing opportunity for contribution.
Edinburgh GENetic Evaluation Services (EGENES) ,as I know from internet, produces national genetic evaluations for all dairy cattle and sheep and for the UKs biggest beef breeds. did your invitation for UK specialists or also for others?
sure, we are in the process of actively seeking other participants, and EGENES seems a good candidate. As you may have read, this project is taking the shape of a COST action, a European funding scheme that promotes networking. The consortium will be on two levels: a "core" group of about 15-20 people more actively involved, and a larger group (~100 people) whose participation is more sporadic. All collaborators will also be divided in the four working groups described in the main text, with each working group having its own list of tasks.
If you are interested in collaborating with us you can start giving us a short description of your possible contribution (in terms of area of expertise, resources you'd like to share, possible expert(s) involved). Feel free to send me a private message. The organizers are currently meeting online every fortnight and I'll gladly share your input.
