Well technically you can see the individual grains in an HRTEM, and calculate yourself whether they are equiaxed or not.

Dear Ratnakar,

TEM samples are so thin and you are basically looking at 2D, understanding complete grain structure and morphology not possible by SADP. Try EBSD.
