I have a sample of trypsinized proteins that were dried using a speed vac. After drying, a yellowish colored pellet was left. What could be the cause of this? All the solution prior to drying were colorless.
I used TFA (Fisher) to stop my trypsinization reaction and the same TFA was also part of two buffers from an initial HPLC run. While the bottle itself is always stored in the dark, my trypisinization protocol was conducted in a well-lit laboratory.
