Using UV-spectroscopy you can get a rough idea about homogeneity or heterogeneity in solutions as the homogeneous solutions follow the Beer-Lambert law, while, the heterogeneous solutions show deviations from the Beer-Lambert law because of the phenomenon of absorption flattening. Whereas, Dynamic light scattering method clearly depicts the monodispersability or polydispersabilty in solutions.
