definitly using smartphones at work can effect on the job satisfaction of employees. Of course, it depends who workers are and which type of job they work... but in telecom companies, using smartphones is important for testing some telecom services but also for private (audio and video contact with family) and business purposes (contact with partners).
It is also important to have smartphnes for employees who must be always "on-line". If you work with engineers or empoyess from finance sector, it is important to be conected with them for different purposes. And they don't have to be in their offices all the time (it is also important for their satisfaction)
