The problem is this: I want to analyse images with the GE .h5 format, but for logistical reasons I can only obtain images with a Philips ultrasound. Can I import the Philips DICOM images into my GE software, then save as .h5?
Hi Eric, if you have the Philips Q-station software there is an option to export images in different DICOM formats so they can be used in other post-processing software (e.g., TomTec). I have not yet tried to import these images to EchoPac, but this is a hurdle I'm also interested in overcoming...
Will investigate further and update you if I find a solution.
3D Slicer has a DICOM Patcher module that allows you to strip any vendor-specific tags from a DICOM series and make it fully compliant with the standard. It may help you import your Philips US DICOM files in the GE workstation.
