If the answer is yes, could this possible characteristic of the charge be at the origin of the rest mass of the electron for example?
My reaction to this idea yet moot.. Charge and mass are quite different things, except that only massive particles can
carry charge. But I cannot think of any theory which ties them together. Mass seems arbitrary and yet charge is
quantized.

(magnetic moment electron (my) need to be a spinning torus spinning while also rolling internally (using magnetic force for stabilisation charge and not radiating if mass is at rest)
