Does the activation of economic processes through the development of pro-development innovation policy programs, activation of innovation and entrepreneurship can be an important factor in defending the national economy against a progressive slowdown in economic growth in the global economy and against the risk of a recession in the domestic economy that could occur through cross-border trade and international capital flows?
The importance of this question is important especially for countries with an open economy with a large share of cross-border trade and the growing share of globalization processes. In addition, this question is valid in the context of the projected slowdown in economic growth in many countries in 2019.
In view of the above, I am asking you the following question:
Can the activation of innovation and entrepreneurship be an important factor in defending the domestic economy against the forecasted, progressive slowdown in economic growth in the global economy in 2019?

In a long run I am sure it can. In most countries economy is based on SMEs and if they are in hostile environment there is no development. Example: Croatia.

Certainly, innovation is an important factor in achieving leadership. Therefore, the national economy depends on the movement of trade and internal industry, which depends on the existence of innovative goods and services adopted by the departments in achieving leadership in business
Entrepreneurship is playing a crucial role in the national economy, especially in the development country. This will be more innovative and positive when it will be applying in Small and Medium Enterprises domain.
Certainly, because entrepreneurship encourages individuals and the private sector to create projects that compete for the best products that contribute to the needs of citizens.
Entrepreneurship plays a key role in increasing the economic growth of countries by exploiting market opportunities, meeting customer needs in an unconventional way, and delivering value added, but it is best to provide business incubators to ensure business success.

Are universal, multi-faceted analytical models known to verify the effectiveness of the use of specific instruments for activating innovation and entrepreneurship, including the analysis of expenditure incurred in relation to the effects obtained in the form of increased activation of innovation and entrepreneurship in economic processes and, as a consequence, the improvement of the country's economic growth caused by the expenditure incurred on activating innovation and entrepreneurship in a specific country?
In the situation of developing this type of multi-faceted analytical model enabling verification of the effectiveness of the use of specific instruments for activating innovation and entrepreneurship in relation to the results obtained, the degree of achieved goals of active pro-development economic policy, it would be possible to carry out more precise comparative analyzes as part of comparing the effectiveness of the use of specific instruments of activating innovation and entrepreneurship in different countries.

Dear Dariusz and all colleagues! my opinion is that modern strategies for innovative development have to be build on the open innovations, then the involved parties cooperate more and the innovations happens at the best cost and market efficiency. The different regions have the different levels of readiness for this. However, using the differentiating in regional policies the proper approaches could be developed for the groups of more or less similar regions. The spatial features are really very important.
Yes. However, the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of a national polity should be directed to the future of the emerging economic cyclicity.
