Want to know if people who are not naturally gifted in Mathematics make good researchers
All researchers are not mathematicians and all mathematicians are not researchers.
A man can be a good researchers even if he is not naturally gifted in Mathematics since there exist infinite fields of research free from mathematics.
I think that intuition or knowledge in mathematics gives you a more methodical view of situations, however, it does not imply that you can not be a scientist
Of course they can provided they possess a strong sense of curiosity and perception and strong logical reasoning capabilities.
Searching for new information / knowledge is research. It may or may not be mathematics related. Think and do are two among the prime activities of research while logic is the path by which a researcher is required to proceed with. Thus, there exist lots of field of research where mathematical intuition may not be necessary.
