I'm interested in a city space (and not only city, places where people gather) social role for people. What can be said about some people gathering in one or another places? How particular site make impact on people intelligence? What qualities of those places define diferance in people gathered there?

This book, intended for a wide audience, examines how complex dynamic relationships influence all sorts of phenomena, including social behavior and social environments. It's very inexpensive (especially used) and is a worthwhile read. It might provide some insights for your question.
