I am trying to see if there's a connection between globalization and health outcome. Going through the KOFGI data set, there are different categories or forms of globalization which includes : social globalization, financial globalization, trade globalization and more. Also , there's dejure which is the policy that preceded the actual globalization event and defacto which is the actual globalization event. I would appreciate if anyone could suggest a good journal or journals that discussed empirical analysis of the globalization-health outcome nexus.

I guess many people would think that globalization and health might be too far away from each other. I specialize in urban issues. I know some studies link health outcome with urban sprawl, which might be related to globalization. Ewing published two or three articles on the former relationship. It may be a good approach to break down globalization into several different aspects and then analyze the relationship, if any, between health outcome and each aspect of globalization.
Thanks Prof @Feng Frederic Deng . I believe the ongoing pandemic which has a deleterious effect on life expectancy can equally be linked to one of the harmful aspect of globalization. In the same vein, the exportation of foods and drugs which can detrimental to human health can also transported from a country to another all in the name of globalization. Globalization doesn't go without a health benefit too such as the ease of moving sick people from one country to another for better health care, the provision of financial aids to provide enabling health facilities and vaccines for the developing countries etc. I believe there could be a strand of connection.
Graham Bird has done some excellent work on the IMF and the outcome of its programmes on the poorer sectors of society. Naturally, these outcomes include health & welfare. Although this work is somewhat tangential to your question, is reflective of the workings of a single institution and covers a multitude of outcome factors, it nonetheless provides insight into the instrumental effects of globalisation. In addition, it often contains references covering other areas and authors which may be of benefit in establishing your connectin.
