Generally paleoecologic characteristic is described in biostratigraphic studies therefore I propose some paper which deals with combination of paleoenvironment, biostratigraphy and paleoecology of the mentioned species.

try to get the book by Hottinger on all Paleocene Rotalids. many lockhartia have been renamed and there are a bunch of new families there.
