Can someone provide advice on thin bed simulations? As geological/static modelling and reservoir modelling?

Anyone aware of the best way to incorporate thin beds in static and dynamic simulations.

Two methods are: fine scale modelling and pseudo relative permeability curves. However both of them result in increase in run time. Any ideas about the topic?

I would suggest Discrete Wave Number method, is quite fast with very low computational cost, the implementation is feasible as well.

Another method i might suggest is Cellular automata, it is a very interesting method however i have not worked with it.
