Are Scirpophaga nivella and Scirpophaga exerptalis are two different species are these or synonyms. Morphologically no clear difference was present in attacked larva and pupa in sugarcane stems but when I installed pheromone lures for both of them similar type of white moths were trapped in both types of traps. How can it be explained?
