Can someone advise on collagen type I expressing cancer cells?

I am looking for cancer cells that express collagens and collagen type I in particular.

Also I'm wondering what the benefit for the tumor itself is because it's my understanding that for ecm synthesis and alike, fibroblasts are recruited.

Hi,

I am not aware of any cancer cell lines which express collagens, but if you are interested in the protein (and not necessarily in the context of the cancer) you may want to grow cultured fibroblasts. Foreskin fibroblast cultures are very easy to grow and maintain.
