Would some one help me out with applying Response Surface Methodology (RSM) for the scaling up of dye degradation process - as in using the preliminary results and checking whether those results would be significant at higher volumes ?
RSM is a very good tool for process optimization. It can be used for the optimization of process parameters, and different designs and dependency of process on various parameters can be tested for your perticular work. Most of the times it gives promising results for process optimization.
However, for scale up of process, RSM does not give the realistic results. For the scale up you may try CHEMPRO or DynoChem.
