Yes definitely the reinforcement learning could be used for word disambiguation and for better performance . The word could be used in many sentences with different context and after matching right context it could be reinforced.

Reinforcement learning provide best or optimize path but supervise method provide only a method or path .

since Machine translation is an application of WSD , if there is a research done on machine translation with RL and not on WSD , and if i do a research on RL with WSD will it be a good contribution or not?
And why havent people applied RL to WSD yet?
