Statistical significance is linked to probability and randomized sampling which is not possible in "pure" qualitative research. If you want to use these statistical approaches you need at least a mixed method design.
Confidence interval is in domain of inferential statistics where sample is drawn from population. Confidence interval is range in which true population mean lies. In qualitative research inferential statistics, confidence intervals and sample size can not be calculated. Moreover qualitative research gives us in-depth analysis and not statistical significance analysis.
Yes, adding to Tania's comment - you might want to look at the possibility of turning qualitative data (for example interview transcripts) into quantitative data, perhaps using some kind of word frequency analysis. But then most qualitative data sets are small, 10 to 40 interviews, so you will struggle to obtain adequate statistical power.
