Online teaching is applicable to theory classes but not for practical ones. However no face to face interactions between students and teachers usually makes it difficult for students to clear their doubts effectively.

This is mainly because of the maturity of the learners and the attitude towards online learning. Teachers were also not very aware and equipped with the use of ICT in schools. Now, the current scenario changed many concepts and the ways of doing an activity. The necessity of learning will forced us to use online mode and we will definitely find out the ways to make it effective. I personally feel, STEM based blended learning is best for the school children.

If at the university level, it was implemented with relative success. I say because in Latin America, despite the fact that universities have made great strides in terms of internet connection and educational platforms, it still shows that there is no proper coordination in terms of university education administration, and the lack of proper decision-making and at the right time, are noticed through the different platforms that these universities are using.

Universities have been implemented much more successfully than primary and secondary schools, and that is why, in many countries around the world, economic support and infrastructure investment is higher for universities than for primary and secondary schools.

I think that the educational institution needs an infrastructure of online communication resources and the students must have the necessary devices to communicate with the online teaching process.

Dear Eilmer Lopez, you are absolutely right. We too were forced to online teaching ver accidentally due to this Covi 19 Crisis. We were not prepared for online teaching at all. Anyhow, we planned to manage the situation nicely to make the academics and students going the learning teaching process. The infrastructure facilities as you were rightly mentioned, should be provided to get optimal results.

From my experience, I'd say. It can but then it depends on learning styles and preferences. Techy students would enjoy these lessons. Yet, traditiona ones (paper and pen) would prefere face to face teaching!

Online learning in K-12 is more about child psychology than learning material. There is evidence that children under the age of 10 yrs. old will need encouragement from a person in the room to successfully mature emotionally and learn the material. Then there are those from 10-18 yrs. old who need to understand intrinsic motivation, self-direction skills and technical skills to succeed in school. University students will need to learn these same skills to succeed. Some students have gained these skills in high school creating projects, participating in sports, as a team member, and on field projects. But minority students have a disadvantage in the U.S. because not all enter sports or do projects therefore they would need to understand and learn these critical thinking skills and intrinsic motivation.

I think the resource we have and the culture we are in matters much. That is, in the case of Ethiopia only minorities have the access to computers, and computers are seen as a means of entertainment, not as a serious tool for learning. All these made it a little difficult to practice especially in primary and secondary schools.

Also from my experience in the field, conventional teaching must not be fully replaced with online mode of teaching. challenges and obstacles still exsit which hinder succesfull implemention of the online teaching. However, the current pandemic sitaution could be of best example as I have seen many schools,universitiens and even students are not feeling well towards online learning. So, things should be balanced. they should propaply be implementing hybrid learning mode which would be of high value

Education in times of pandemic has proceeded with accelerated advances forced by the current pandemic. I agree that in the university sector it has shown relative success, however I believe that virtual education will not replace face-to-face education in many years. In the case of the education of health professionals and other sciences that deserve a high practical component, the difficulties are even greater, but the human being must adapt these days. In the case of schools, I believe that strategies should be sought to optimize the education of children and avoid contagion to the maximum. we must remember that children can be great carriers of the virus.

I never believed that education can be solely online, but with the corona era, we are forced to teach online. So, does that prove the fact or we are feeling disadvantaged by corona?

i believe that the online teaching is suitable for the students in the high level like Master degree and above

but in the primary or elementary school is very hard and well never simulate the traditional learning
