There are many research papers available in the literature about Hamiltonian graphs. I would like to know the new application of Hamiltonian graphs in Engineering, especially in Network on chip , System on chip, Computer networks, Ad hoc networks, Mobile networks, and IOT(internet of things). Also I would like to know the optimum Topology for enhanced future Wireless sensor networks.
A Hamiltonian path in a undirected (directed) graph is a path that visits each vertex of the graph exactly once. A graph is Hamilton if it contains a Hamilton Cycle.
IOT (internet of things) is the network of physical devices with the ability to collect and exchange data.
So, if there are multiple Hamilton cycles in the graph that represent the above network, that indicates
1. all the nodes (devices) are connected and reachable from every other node.
2. info (commands/ messages) can be sent and received by each node to/ from each other node through more then one path.
3. If, by chance, one path fails the communication can still occur through the alternate path adding robustness to the network.
When you have more than one hamiltonian cycle in a network, It is easy to pass the communication form one node to all other node using the 2nd hamiltonian cycle when the 1st hamiltonian cycle is faulty with any particular node.
