i am doing thesis . i want to ask my technical friends that i am interacting the model beel created in ansys APDl via python coding . The result of any model that is created in ansys APDl will get stored in ( jobname.rst file ) . now , i want to fetch that result of that model through python without giving that .RST specified model name (only by giving resultfile it should be possible )through python . One picture i have attached . go through it and please let me know if one can help me .

Are you asking if you can read the .rst file without passing ".rst" through to python? It seems like a bit of a strange use case, but you could pass glob the whole folder and then index through the files as pick the one you want to use.

Yes, without passing ".rst" to Python. I wanted to do so, in order to fetch the results stored in the ".rst" file. And, i did it without passing ".rst" to python
