Could there be a way to do video content analysis that would enable a video to be selected among a list of other videos? Lets say you have a 2 or 3 minute video on how to perform addition, how do you analyse the content of video such that you can make the best selection from among a list of other videos on how to perform addition? Most video analytics deals with objects and movements in the videos and they are mostly done splitting the videos into picture frames that would be later analyzed but when you will need to also verify the wordings, how do you actually do that?

Definitely video content analysis can be done. There are 3 types of content analysis: conventional, directed, or summative. Since the focus is on how to perform addition conventional way is to develop coding categories which are derived directly after reviewing the text data.
In a directed approach Theory or relevant research findings can also act as guides for developing initial codes.
A summative content analysis involves counting and comparisons,
usually of keywords or content, followed by the interpretation of the underlying context.
