For example, imagine you dissolve 1 g of PEGDA in 9 g of water. You have 10 g total, but will your solution have a 10 mL volume? In other words, does the resulting solution maintain water's density of 1.0 g/mL?
In my own work, I have seen that this is a good approximation. But I have never measured these volumes exactly.

Its totally depends on the type of solute added to the solvent and the next factor associated with the priority of molality over molarity, because molality do not affected by temperature and give the accurate results.

It is not about density, is about miscibility. It is almost imposible to calculate how two liquids or a liquid and a solid will mix.
You need to use a volumetric flask, simple as that
