Dear fellow beloved chemists,

I just ran the USP standards in ordered from Chem Service and did get good separation. Now on to inorganic Bromide. The method "EURL-SRM, Bromine Containing Fumigants" requires us to derivatize with propylene oxide. Can't we just GC/MS it instead of using Electron Capture Detection? Any gotchas?

And on the same note I've never had to run the Dithiocarbamates either. Any ideas? Thank you.-Paul D. Dodson
