Given the nested structure of my data (teachers within schools), can I use Variance Components Analysis to assess the extent of between-school variance in my outcome variable? Specifically, will this analysis allow me to calculate the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) to determine if there is substantial variance at the school level, thereby informing whether a multilevel SEM approach is warranted?
