Hello everyone,

I would like to know whether heat profiles created according to the approach described in the BDEW guideline can be used as heat profiles for the heat systems such as district heating (Fernwärme) or not. I'm a bit confused since the standard heat load profiles in the BDEW guideline correspond to gas transport but the district heating can have different heat energy resources and use mostly hot water as transport medium. It would be helpful if anyone could explain me more regarding the heat profiles of German heat system or what I understand wrongly.
