I am interested in conducting an experiment using TMS over motor cortex. But, I cannot estimate some participants' motor threshold for a reason that I cannot explain here. In this case, can I use phosphene threshold as a measure of cortical excitability of motor cortex. If yes, should I adjust each phosphene threshold?
