Dear all,
I am working in superalloy solidification. Can I use FEG-SEM/EDS data for calculating partition ratio for the solute elements?
If "partition ratio" is ratio of elements quantities, then yes, you can. Better if quantitative analysis is performed with standards, but with good SEM/EDS operator standardless analysis of metals can give acceptable results.
Thank you for the valuable guidance. I will be calculating the partitioning between dendrite and interdendrite region.
I think there is no direct option to plot gain versus frequency in CST. kindly give solution
