I have a chemical that is activated by light, and there is work published that describes this being done with an incandescent light bulb (the specific brand is discontinued), incorporated with a high pass filter. I figure that substituting the incandescent light bulb with an appropriate LED would be a much more elegant system.

Can I do this? What conversions should I keep in mind if I am making the switch? Would the energy of the photos differ if they are derived from an LED or an incandescent light bulb? If I should focus on the lumens, can I add up the lumens of multiple LEDs in an array to achieve an appropriate level of chemical activation?

The specific light bulb is a 100 W, 120 V, and 1450 Lm.

Thank you in advance!
