It depends. Usually, journals (especially rigorous and prestigious journals) do not accept papers that have been presented at conferences. However, some journals might accept it (you should ask the journal). I also suggest asking the conference officials if they are going to publish the conference papers (they might publish them in a journal).

I believe you can publish a paper after presenting it in a conference.

what you presented in the conference is an abstract it is a kind of summary of the paper or you can say part of the work because you can just take some part of the result and emphasis on it but publishing the paper itself is now given the full report of your work which will include the abstract you presented in the conference, more people can benefit from your work and people looking at your work will have broad understanding of what you are talking about , then they can criticize the work ,or continue the study from where you stop.
