I'm interested to carry out experimental studies on a circular cylinder. But even after doing literature review I unable to get the exact design of the cylinder (cross-section).
Specifically, how output wires from thermocouple are taken out from the cylinder in the presence of heater and the same question applies for fixing pressure probes?

dear Mr. Vaibhav Hiwale really I'm not sure about your question if it refer to the cylinder design or about fixed the prop of thermocouple,
The design of cylinder depending about
- Material of cylinder
- Dimensions of cylinder
- Wall Thickness of cylinder, because you can made the cylinder from metal sheet by rolling it or you can use a solid cylinder and drilling its core to insert the heater-cartridge
- also it depending about your function from heater to get a constant surface temperature of constant wall heat flux ( if constant wall temperature you must to insert your bar heater in the phase change material PCM in the core of cylinder like wax , while at constant heat flux you can employ an electrical heater wire and coted in many space by mica to fixed it in the inside cylinder wall)
about fixing the prop of thermocouple my suggestion is that
- you can use Voltage regulator and wilding the prop of thermocouple by make the prop of thermocouple a pole and the cylinder body the other electrical pole and the limit electrical voltage to make a good spark between (35-50AC volt)
- use the prop with metal cover with screw insert in the body of cylinder
note the power of electrical wire of heater = ((volt^2)/heater resistance)
