My team is doing a research about electrospinning of the Keratin/PLA Blends. I have to make a 10%wt keratin solution for the electrospinning . Is formic acid a proper solvent for it? How long does it take to dissove keratin all? (+ which condition is the best?

formic acid acts as an denaturating agent and can be therefore used to dissolve the precipitated protein.
