Can I control olympus fv300 with DAQ card?

I'm working with an Olympus FV300 confocal microscope equipped with the FV3-SU-3 scanning unit. I'm interested in integrating a Data Acquisition (DAQ) card to control or interface with the microscope's hardware components, such as scanning mirrors, laser triggers, or detectors.

Has anyone successfully implemented a DAQ card (e.g., from National Instruments) to control or synchronize with the Olympus FV300 system?
