how to dissociate the hydrocarbons to make it harmless for the environment? is there an organism or any kind of microbes which can filter the particulate matter.

Needless to write a long essay, plants surely do absorb air pollutants including particulate matter, and metabolize them into oxygen or other compounds, less toxic to the environment. The morphological structure of some plant foliage, or biomass in general, helps them to effectively capture and retain dust and some of the objects it may have advected along its trajectory.
