I wish to connect a 500w 24V DC motor to solar panels, without using any battery. The rated current of motor is 27.6A.
I have two solar panels with 24V and 325 watt ratings.The 'maximum power current' and 'maximum power voltage' of the panels are in the range of 7.15 - 9.55 A and 27.05 - 30.15 V , respectively.
1. Will it work if I connect these two panels in parallel to develop 24 V with 20A current.
2. What kind of accessories/regulators/controllers will be required to be placed in between panel and motor.
You should add at least a third panel, so that the parallel output exceeds the rated current of the motor. If you can measure the actual current, as you intend to load it, you might be able to get by with only two panels. Panel rating probably assumes full noonday sun. Running at less than full speed, overloaded, is probably safe for the panels, but not for the motor.

For directly powered systems ( no battery ) from solar panels start to provide the Solar Power Motor with low power as the sun rises, increasing during the day, and dropping to zero at night. The motor performance parallels these voltage and current levels. Yes. to reach the rated current of the motor, we need another panel. But motor will not perform well based on the above-mentioned fact. but it depends on your application.
Santosh S Mali I would not recommend connecting solar panels directly with a motor. It is not efficient and may have adverse effects on the motor. A power conditioning device such as a DC-DC converter should be used. Batteries can be added according to your application, to store energy and use it when power from the solar panels is insufficient.
