In 1977 (https://inis.iaea.org/collection/NCLCollectionStore/_Public/10/462/10462075.pdf ) we proved that any bound-state quantum potential can be solved by continued fractions, using the Schrödinger equation.
E.g, as Mussardo in Tieste proposed, using a quantum potential for the prime numbers.
Using computers any continued fraction can be calculated only with additions and encodings.
Multiplications, divisions, and subtractions included. This is well-known in Computer Science.
Thus, using only the basic Boolean set {0,1}, additions and encodings, any solution to bound-states in the Schrödinger equation can be calculated using continued fractions.
This links quantum computing with continued fractions, and vice-versa.
