China has done remarkably well in terms of economic growth, yet there is much speculation as to whether it can sustain such growth. On the other hand, the US has been struggling to achieve the kind of growth required for its economy to be healthy. However, one main characteristic of the US economy is its ability to put more innovations into the market than anyone else, certainly more than China. It is said that 70 of the GDP of the US is generated from products that did not exist 15 years ago. Can China develop such potential to rival with the US?
