I'm looking at potential differences in static generation for PA66 fibers as they are attenuated. I've attached a file containing drawings of fibers being guided into an attenuator. The fibers in the first image enter the attenuator with no contact to the O-ring. The second image, the fibers enter the attenuator at an angle and bend around the O-ring, maintaining constant surface contact.

With the increase in temperature from friction, as well as fiber-to-fiber contact with the situation in the second image, can a charge reversal occur in that given area? What about changes in static potential?

Thank you in advance.
