Butterflies show different types of wing damage which can be either by mechanical destruction or by predator attack such as beak marks by birds or lizards. Attached I show two images of butterflies with different kinds of wing lesions (Polyura athamas from Sumatra and Euthalia amanda from Sulawesi). I welcome comments on the types of lesions.
