Hello everyone, I recently went through methods to count bacterial cells more rapidly and accurately than plate counting. Other than flow cytometry with fluorescent stains, such as the Quantom TX by Logos Biosystems, I went through a relatively new and radically different approach. I am talking about Bactobox (Impendance flow cytometry).

Is Bactobox able to differentiate among Gram + and Gram - bacteria? Due to their shells they should cause differences in how the signals are read by the machine...

Anyone to help me?

Really thanks for the time and the help.

Marco
