On 25 September 2015, the 193 countries of the UN General Assembly adopted the 2030 Development Agenda titled Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development; Arab countries were signatories to this. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a collection of 17 global goals. SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. Responses to this query will be found in what reports monitor progress across the targets and indicators associated with SDG 3; the Arab Sustainable Development Report, 2015, one such report, is at https://www.unescwa.org/publications/arab-sustainable-development-report-2015.

There may be not much in terms of new that is necessary but the ability to adapt the technologies to local weather, genetic & social conditions, and to also value native knowledge and integrate it into the healthcare plans.
