Recently I have started working on GWAS. I got Arabidopsis natural accessions from ABRC to study the phenotypes. But I don't know how to grow these plant. Weather on just 1/2 MS media or on media with GA for germination, media with ABA for stress and so on. Please guide me.
Arabidopsis can be grown on 1/2 MS media or in soil.There are lots of useful Protocols on the TAIR website. You could find the protocols which you are interested in.

Hi,
you first have to know WHY you ordered them, i.e. what phenotype you want to score and how you want to quantify this particular phenotype. A critical aspect is that all seeds had been collected from plants grown under identical conditions, which the stock centers control.
Then you can germinate/ grow them under whtever conditions you need. It might be good to stratify them for several days. If you need flowering plants, special, long-term cold treatment might be required.
