U didn't give enough inputs, but the method should be find total h and flow rate. Between 1 and 2 total flow rate and total h will not change. I believe you can solve this kind of question!
Thank you for your suggestions. My question is about a boiler of 10 bar feeds an evaporator with saturated vapor of 2 bar through the pipes of diameter D. we know that the T (saturated vapor) = f (vapor pressure).
Then, 1°/ I want to calculate the flow of steam input to the evaporator ( diameter of the pipe, the steam temperature and pressure) and 2°/ how can we estimate the lost steam through the holes in the conditions of T, P steam?
Note: The pressure is regulated by the pressure regulator from 10 bar to 2 bar.
Spirex Sarco is one of the leaders in the steam industry. They have great tech support that can help you through some difficult engineering problems. Their website and literature is filled with more information and data than you could imagine.
Here is a link to one of their calculators specific to steam flow:
An easy way to simulate is to simulate the steam as a compressible gas, at a given pressure and temperature. If the sumulation gives as a result point os pressure or temperature that indicates condensation, a biphasic model must be used, if not the initial approach is valid.
