you can use meteonorm software, this software gives you the data of the solar radiation for all regions of the world with a suitable file that can be used for many softwares.

Recently, I visited 46th PVSC, where I found many researchers are using SCAPS-1D for simulation. You have already used that, right!

if you gonna calculate global radiation on a geometry you can use Grasshopper/ladybug.

Professor Rajeev Kanth, I agree with SCAPS 1D but it majorly focuses on Photovoltaic simulations whereas I am looking for a software to study the different kind of spectrum and its properties.
