I am looking for articles where both the Finite element Method

(FEM) and Discrete element method (DEM) are used to perform a Scratch test (Indentation test, etc) and the results are compared relative to one another. I want to get acquainted with both the methods to plan my future research activities. Can someone help me with some reference ? or Direct me to somebody who is working on the same? Thanks
